Aboout CHILDHOOD ROADS Institute:
Childhood Roads Institute was founded in 2009; It was registered early in 2010 with the aim of empowering the disadvantaged community of Orange Farm and its surroundings. Currently it is operating in 3 extensions of Orange Farm. The community was and it is still faced with various social challenges which emanate from poverty, unemployment, domestic violence, and various chronic illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, breast cancer and TB.
To address the above challenges the organisation have various projects that they are implementing and these are; a drop in centre for children, skills development, natural play, psycho-social support (Parental workshops, provision of basics, and the elderly project) and awareness campaigns.....Read More...

The township is located in Region G on the southern edge of the City of Johannesburg and it is 45 km away from Johannesburg’s central business district (CBD).
